Presidential White House Gold Service Award

What the "Gold Award" means...

Here is the link from the White House to read about this very special Award:

"The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is the premier volunteer awards program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. We encourage you to take a look around, be inspired and take positive action that changes the world."

Julie E Harman was awarded the Presidential White House Service Award in September 2016. This award was given when she completed the required 500+ registered hours of Community Service across the United States of America. This service was to support local and national communities in areas of choice, and those areas were: Education, Nonprofits, Businesses, Public Service, and Politics.

Ms. Harman was able to complete her service through public speaking, fund raising, educational outreach programs, programs of her own making, as well as sharing her knowledge about her platform message The Power of Liberty: 'Be Prepared, Responsible and Becoming Self-Reliant'. This message was the foundation of Ms. Harman's service, as well as so much of what she is about and what she is passionate about every single day!
